Hi, I live in the UK, and am thinking about buying some mics and pre's in
the not too distant future, I'm not looking to spend mega-bucks it's only for my small Pro Tools LE setup. Given the very favourable exchange rate at the moment I was thinking even with the postage and import charges it could be cheaper to buy from the US. However being in the UK I don't see any US advertising, so don't actually know of any on-line stores! The only one I can remember from visits to the US is Guitar Centre, but they don't seem to have an online store. Thanks, Pete. |

Watch out for the additional tariffs which the EU has been imposing on many goods imported from the US, which is I believe adding an additional 15% to the cost of imported audiovisual gear. Apparently, the EU has announced that these are now to be suspended but someone on the Sound on Sound forum was grumbling just a couple of days ago about being stung by them.
