Vsampler claims to: http://www.maz-sound.de/index.php?show=product&id=2. I haven't used an AKAI samples on it but it works great with every thing I've tried so far. |

I'll second VSampler.
Obtuse user interface, no printed manual, great sound, years of feature discovery. Kontakt should work great, though. CDXtrack or Chicken Systems Translator probably will do a better AKAI to whatever conversion than what is built into the Kontakt or any other soft-sampler. -- Doug Osborne my day job: http://www.martinsound.com/ "bj" wrote in message om... ... I'll second VSampler. Obtuse user interface I've seen a few people say that. I think it's hands down the best GUI I've ever come across. I didn't have a manual either, just good at poking around. There's some seriously slick stuff in the GUI that could really use publicizing. I think he finally did put together a PDF manual that you can have printed. |
