Default Client wants to sound like a goat

I have a client who wants to sound like a goat for a political spot tomorrow.
I haven't seen the script, but this is what he wants. I already experimented
with Sound Replacer and a goat sample in ProTools with moderate sucess. I don't
have a working vocorder plug in. Any other insights? Thanks in advance for any
serious replies. No flames please.

Just curious if it has something to do with this:

No flames?!?! PLEASE?!?! ROFLMFAO!!!!! Eperimenting with Sound Replacer and a
goat sample?!?!?!?! And you expect NO FLAMES?!?!?! Too funny!

Seriously, though.... perhaps your "talent" should watch a "Goat Boy" sketch
from SNL.

Nothing like addressing the issues in your politcal spots. Sheesh. The fine
campaigning continues!

Now, that wasn't TOO flamey for ya, was it?

Lol...

Sound like a goat. Rich.

Try an exteme low cut, and an adventurous vibrato.

Why the hell does he want to sound like a goat in a political spot? Sure
it's not a used car commercial?

Sample Stevie Nicks and pitch her down an octave.
Sorry couldn't resist.

Seriously - try some aggressive vibrato and detune it a
little.

Skip the processing. Get someone who can sound like a goat. Holding onto
the flap of skin under your neck and wiggling it seems to be important to
this.

Does it have anything to do with Dan Rather's airing of the prank call about
a goat after the last space shuttle disaster?

Rgds:
Eric

OK, tell us how it went. I'm betting that YOUR client really wanted
you to make his opponent sound like a goat.

I dunno...I suspect some version of "My Pet Goat" is being set up.

Peace,
Paul

OK Here's how it went. The spot was an attack on Bush. The "goat" effect wound
up being Pure Pitch in ProTools set to "Too Much Coffee" Worked GREAT. I turned
purple with laughter as the client tried to talk with the effect on his voice.
Thanks for the responses. Jim

Was there mention of a children's book?
