How so?

She'll be doing double duty on the rhetoric. She even used the press
conference to get a political jab in about health care. I was watching
because I was genuinely concerned with President Clinton's health, her
comment just soured the whole thing. It was pathetic.

One thing I learn from you, George, is that I should have charged

If you were happy with what you were paid, what does it matter? With an
attitude like that, it's easy to see why campaigns cost so much.

I was at the time, but in retrospect, I could have gotten a lot more.

It's not gonna happen, unless you know of a Way-Back Machine I can use.

I guess the question comes down to whether you charge what you thing is fair
versus charging as much as you can get.

it was a sealed bid against two other companies
so both situations applied

Nothing wrong with that at all, George. I've seen your setups, they are pro
all the way. That costs money. But it's unethical to inflate your prices
because you can get away with it, that's price gouging. The statement that I
made doesn't apply to you.

Its not gouging until it is for a essential good or service , my work is
non essential and thus will go for what I can get
BTW I was the middle bidder amoung 3
one vendor was deemed worthy but too expensive(3.5K more than me) and
the other vendor was deemed unable to fulfill the need

Well, so many people hate her, that I'm naturally always looking for the
good. She was my Senator for a couple of years.

I did think of a funny thing, though. When she spoke to the press in
Syracuse at the State Fair, I was thinking that she should just go to
the City.

It reminded me of the Seinfeld episode when Elaine goes to see her
boyfriend in the hospital, and he says, "When did you have time to get Jujubes?"

sanwich or some deep fried snickers bars while B was with the rotorooter

Political jab? Sorry, this IS an important issue. Our health care system
is in very poor condition, and getting worse.

Yes, but just like this thread, it was off-topic.
