I have what appears to be good news on Emtec. I just got off the phone
with one Mark Salamone. He is with NY Tape and Media (nytape.com). He
was the former Emtec rep for half of the United States. He tells me the
ownership matter at the moment is resolved and tape is once again
available, albeit very limited at the moment-He is one of only three
reps in the U.S who can get it. Contact Mark if you want Emtec tape
through his web site above. He believes the situation abroad is good
long term, but who knows? The factory was purchased by a group of people

in the tape business in Germany-Don't know if they are former employees
or not. Normal production should ramp up as the year goes on. Of course,

all this could change later today. Now you know.

I believe this is all wishful thinking. I spoke with an Emtec factory
person yesterday who told me everything is shut down.
It is a sad thing for a lot of us.
