Hello,
Does anyone know of a "good" (and preferably free ![]() transposes from one key to the next, that I can use with cool edit 2000 ? I know of only one, "pacemaker", and it's exactly what I want but unfortunately it only works with WinAmp. Please advise. Thank you, Daniel PS: It doesn't have to be "free" ![]() |

Cool edit has this function built in. Select the area to change, Transform-Time/Pitch-Stretch... Go to the Transpose box and choose which way and how many half notes to transpose, and under Stretching Mode, you probably want Pitch Shift (preserves tempo). know of only one, "pacemaker", and it's exactly what I want but unfortunately it only works with WinAmp. Thanks for the info but I found the cool edit "pitch" to be a bit "choppy" and also lacking in "real time" preview, so I guess I'm looking for something really good for transposing instruments. know of only one, "pacemaker", and it's exactly what I want but unfortunately it only works with WinAmp. It's time to upgrade to Adobe Audition. The version 1.5 has the pitch change/time stretch module reworked. Norbert |
