Default AES 3 interface

Hello,

I am a programmer working on parsing AES 3 Elementary Stream files. I
have been trying to figure out the file structure, but have been having
problems. I would like to know if there are members of this list who
are programmers, and who have worked on these types of files before. If
there are, I can follow up with a list of questions and situations. But
I'll spare the group if there are not.

Thanks.

ciao!

AES3 is not a file format but an interface format using the "biphase
mark code". You can find the specification on
http://www.aes.org/standards/b_pub/aes-standards-in-print.cfm as
single copy download for free.

greetings

Yes. I know that, and have read the AES standards documents. I have a
set of files that have been generated by the aes interface. From what I
can determine, these are the result of taking a data structure in the
form of:

preamble-aux-data payload-vucp

and turning them into

payload-vucf

two payloads per frame, 192 frames per data block.

i.e., they are AES3 Elementary Streams.

thanks.
