Does anybody know of a piece of software that will read LTC through a nornal
PC soundcard input ?

I've never seen one, and I was looking for a time code reader for
quite a while. I eventually found a hardware box that wasn't very
expensive and I'm happy with that.

Seems to me that one of the Frontier Design interfaces can take time
code coming into one of the audio inputs and get sync time from that.
You might give a look there if you need some heardware.
