I need some advice on an undertaking -
What I want to have is a set up where I can: a) play records b) play and burn cd's c) be able to burn my records to cd-r's d) do all of this and just use an amp, I don't want a big bulky receiver. Here are the items I've been looking at: * Audiosource Amp One -- Amp OR * Audiosource Amp Two -- Amp * Audio Technica AT-PL120 -- Turntable * CD Recorder -- not sure what cd player/recorder to get Oh, and also I would only use headphones when monitering recording of cd's...and that could be plugged in the cd player I assume. Otherwise I would just use some 8 ohm speakers... Any opinions on if this set up would work? Any advice or suggestions on a stand alone cd recorder to match the other components? My main goal is to have a sanctuary to go to, to play my lp's (my new hobby) play my cd's (old hobby).. and make copies of my lp's to cd-r's for mobility (I.E. car, work, etc). Thanks, Jason |
