Wow, I posted a msg here, and it turned into a battle between losers,
with a few great helpful replies thrown in (thanks). I'm sorry to see
that this group has deteriorated so badly. I frequented it years ago,
and it was mostly full of constructive stuff and mature, well-adjusted
people. Now, this group has gone the way of so many on usenet, and it's
a shame. Those more positive and helpful folk among you have my
sympathies. It's pretty easy to tell who the culprits are, just look
in the thread on MP3 I started, and they make themselves, and their
personalities, pretty obvious. This group is almost as bad as the linux
groups have become.

Are you sure you're not confusing this group with some other? As far as
I know, this group has been a cesspool for an awfully long time.

You might try posting your question in rec.audio.high.end - the only
problem with rahe is that it's a moderated group (and you need to post
with a real email address), but it does eliminate a lot of the silly
nonsense that dominates this place.

I think it was a prosoundweb.com forum. IIRC, he was banned within a day.

Arny was kicked out for being hostile to everyone and generally argumentative about stuff he
doesn't really understand. It took all of a couple of days. I think it was a bit of a set-up job
but he fell for it.
