Default Funny thing happened on the way to work today..

I was "burning in" these SilverFi IC's for a couple of days by repeating
a soundgraden ("superunkown") CD on an el-cheapo dvd player, etc, when
this morning I determined that that much torture to this once beloved CD
is enough and changed the CD. I put in "Monster" from REM for the
repeat. Another great cable burn-in CD.

I took the soundgarden CD with me to the car. Puffing through the
morning traffic jams I finally got to the workplace garage. I had
reached song number 12 by then (fresh tendrils)... I let it grind
through to the end, just sitting in the car. Then again. And again..
Three times in all.

Yes, so yes, the point of this post is that I nominate the soundgarden
song "fresh tendrils" as the greatest ever grunge rock song, ever, EVER!

How stupid is it necessary to be to believe in 'cable burn in' ?

It's only stupid if you think you can stop it.

OK Stephen, so are you saying that cable burn-in is a signficant audible
effect?

No, he is saying that *this time around* you were not the fastest retard.
Second place is still impressive. You are definitely House of Morons
material.

Cheers,

Margaret

I don't know about it's sign-ficantness arny old chum, but I am gonna
give you a hint. You certainly don't deserve one, down there with
gray-ham, but I feel generous today: I don't have an el-cheapo dvd
player. ;\

I think that Brer Rabbit is trying to win over attitudes and ideas on
the battlefield of RAO.

He is bound to fail.

Are you saying that you feel the need to play each CD until it has been
played a certain number of times before it, in your view sounds the best?

No I am saying that the cable burn in reference just did well and served
its purpose. Borgs dont deserve a song like that. Now be a good borg and
get serious and ANGRY!

I'll guess I can agree with that, Fella. It apparently kept you out of our
way.

Borgs dont deserve a song like that.

That song was recorded and produced by us borgs.

Now be a good borg and get serious and ANGRY!

Yawn.

There you go yawning again, Arnie. Didn't I ask you to get more sleep?

I won't tell you again.
