Hello everyone,
I am trying the Samplitude demo. I can't see how to nudge audio files by small amounts. could someone tell me how to do this? if it's somehow disabled in the demo, that's completely lame. i saw a whole lot of blocked out options. i'm not sure how you can determine the effectiveness of a program if 70% of the features are crippled. anyway, if anyone knows, thanks in advance |

thanks, Nick.
I solved most of the problems by discovering there is something in the corner where you select "power user". then the buttons you would expect appear at the top of the screen. "easy" version is much harder, because the tools you need to do precise work are absent! i'm not sure why the demo would default to easy version, because someone considering buying the full version of Samplitude is probably not a beginner. |

As it happens, I always found the full set of toolbars daunting - you could spend a couple of minutes just hunting for the right button. I tend to use features so often that I know (or set) the keyboard shortcuts, or so infrequently that I don't mind hunting through menus for them. BTW, a good hint for getting to grips with Samplitude is, "try right-clicking everywhere". -Nick |
