I caught a reference in this months' Mix by Gary Paczosa about a Mastering Labs
preamp. I checked around and can't find anything about it on the web or thru
dealers web sites. Anyone have a clue where to find out about it? Anyone have
any direct experience with Mastering Labs equipment?

Last I heard, it's out of production. Too bad -- it's a great sounding
unit. Maybe EveAnna might consider building it.

You will need to contact Mastering Labs in L.A. They sent me
a descriptive sheet on it about 6 months ago. Single channel
tube mic pre, minimal controls, around $1600 IIRC.
