It's called making money. It's also why I
stopped upgrading after a point - sticking
with my 4thgen iPhone and iPod,
running iOS 5 & 6, and iOS 8 on last
year's iPad mini. It's become, as Sammy
Hagar sang on "Right Now": trading
one for another.
As far as the Sansa players go, in the
Amazon reviews I see the "halo" effect
a lot: lots of 5- and and 1-star ratings,
but only a few in-between(3 or 4-star).
That indicates peoples' experience with
them has been either heavenly or
downright horrible(me)!
On a whim, I decided to do an Amazon search for "flac player" and to my
surprise several came up at reasonable prices. There is one called the
AGPtEK A02 which seems to be getting consistently good reviews and
supports most audio file formats including flac. For $22, I may take a
chance on this. I followed the Clip+ with a preamp from the headphone
output, so it looks like I could do the same with this one.
If anyone wants to chime in about the AGPtEK line as I see there are
others, your comments welcome! The reviews certainly seem better and
more consistent than the latest Sansas.
