You need to do a lot of testing with the CF card. I lost a very valuable
recording because of read problems with mine. What card are you using?
Make sure the chosen card will handle the data writing rate necessary
for realtime capture of audio. Some work fine while making a file
transfer, but fail in realtime use for recording. Been there and
suffered that.
Sandisk 10 works well with my R44 and with my cameras.
