Prism and DiGiCo both have MADI-USB adapters (it may be the same one)
that work just fine and will get you 56 channels in and out of a USB2
port. If you want to use MADI, you can get a gizmo that lets you plug it
into an external port of your computer. But of course as we've noted
here, you're at the mercy of the manufacturer of that gizmo to give you
a driver that's compatible with the computer and operating system when
you upgrade your computer 10 years later.
