Speaker repair in NYC
Can anyone recommend a service center in NYC for a Dynaudio BM6A?
Surprisingly (or not), TC Electronics/Dynaudio's online customer
support took 3 days to get back to me, offered no meaningful help and
then "closed the case" when I failed to write back to them over the
Thanksgiving weekend. They suggested I call an authorized dealer.
Calling the non-Guitar Center authorized dealers in the city proved to
be somewhat unhelpful since I hadn't purchased the speakers from them
(bought them used.)
Basically one of the two monitors farts out on low frequencies at high
volumes and overall the speaker doesn't sound the same as the other
when playing test tones and white noise. Not sure if it's one of the
drivers or the amplifier.
