It's part of HE-AAC, which had a lot of research go into hiding extreme
digital losses. It's a smoke and mirrors trick, except for your ears.
If you hear the music for the first time with HE-AAC it sounds passable.
If you hear the lossless version first then HE-AAC, it's obvious that
it's not right.
