Default RAP5 Review

om...

Don't worry about it. I didn't get a word of feedback either. My track

is
#18 on disc 2. I watched the reviews on disc 2 neatly bypass my track. I
don't know what it means, but I know my track didn't suck. Their mileage

may
vary, but we'll never know....

(delurk), hiya,

hmmmm, trck 18 initially caused a bit of allergic reactions on my
behalf; busy machines (drums/perc/key), excited about the lately
discovered ability to talk with each other, plus an excited mesa
boogie-hero, unable to behave, all of it reminiscent to a recording of
d.grusin in the dark 80s oberheim/linn-driven muzak era...errrrmmmm.
Upside is: Good tune, great trumpet solo, guitar solo (the official)
is ok, so why not cut the midi-shlubber away and replace it with
either a real artificial and _small_ sounding tr 808 groove (the
british mode, that is) or a very much calmed down real drums/bass,
with nothing but one snare hit at every last 4 following each
completed vocals text line. Explained a bit fuzzy, i know..

to be understood as humble individual opinion, don't get it wrong,
pleeez.

LOL! Dude, there's actually no midi on that particular track. Those are
real drums, real percussion, and real electric piano, played by real people.
The percussion track was a timbale thingy created and added by the drummer.
Trumpeter - Kevin Turcotte - kicks ass, doesn't he? There's a jazz album I
did with him, called Catwalk, still available...
