Default how can I apply Dolby B effect to CD recording?

The plugin is highly configurable, and it doesn't disable the built in
graphic equaliser in Winamp. Try changing the levels in the setup on the
plugin, or just cutting the bass a bit in Winamp.

Also, check the bass response on your home system against the bass
response on your car system.

Thanks again. Tried adjusting the EQ in Winamp and then a different
simulator by Magix out a few years ago in a program they had called "Audio
Cleaning Lab". The demo version from '05 had a Dolby simulator. However,
despite numerous attempts and adjustments, I just don't end up with the same
punch and frequency range as when I do the "analog" car method. Therefore,
I'm still tempted to try the old cassette deck with Dolby using the car
adapter from the CD player on the input side, and the mono out into the
sound card on the output. I don't know how much loss there will be and I
know the effect will depend on the proper orientation of the tape heads, but
I still may try.

Thanks again for your help.
