Why is the Linn Sondek so overpriced?

Okay...so you're saying that it shouldn't be overpriced because it's a
copy of another turntable (I'm assuming you mean the Ariston). �You're

because it's based on another design. �Of course that makes no sense.
Here are reasons why a person could reasonably say that the Linn is
overpriced:
1. It isn't competitive with other turntables at its price point.
2. You've heard it and you don't think the sound quality justifies the
price.
�The sound quality is OK. Issues do include warping of the plinth
because of green wood and RFI from the abysmally "designed" Lingo
supply.
3. You've seen the margins on it and they're abnormally high for this
particular industry.
�Autism would be exhibited in believing that there is such a thing as
an abnormally high margin in this industry (such as it is).
Few people are getting rich in high-end audio these days.
If you were autistic, I was willing to give you a break. But you have
some other problem going on.
