I'm looking forward to the Obama presidency. So far he looks focused,
organized, and willing to put partisan bull**** aside for the good of
the country.

It'll be a very welcome change from the "aw, shucks" republican
'integrity' and 'moral compass' of the last eight years.-

political corruption is non partisan.
power and mopney corrupts dems and reps.

So who was talking about corruption? I was talking about stupid
decisions based entirely on ideology, hypocrisy of the highest order,
stupid decisions based entirely on stupidity, separation of church and
state, attacks on civil liberties, divisiveness, ignorance and a lot
of other things.

Corruption didn't even enter my mind. Are you accusing bushie and the
republicans of corruption? That would not surprise me at all, but what
have you got?

The ideology of the GOP members in power has little to do with the
ideology of a great number of the rank and file. Both the GOP and Dem
ruling elites are controlled by globalist, state corporatist elites
with mostly window dressing and a few inconsequential hot button
"issues" for the followers to fixate on.
