What would you call the republican party?
Whatever your definition turns out to be I think "in a shambles" is
appropriate. Perhaps the best answer is that they do not stand for
anything. Maybe the "Selfishness Party" is only a close second.
The Republican voter is not selfish at all, but votes against his/her
interest with the understanding that "those people" are hurt worse.
