I think there have been times where I heard a bit of 'phasieness'
in Chicago stuff (2 trumpets).
True. Two higher pitched instruments tend to sound phasey together,
whereas with two lower pitch instruments, you'll hear a beat frequency.
'Bone players refer to this beat frequency as "B52-ing".
