Carrying small speakers ?

I use makeup cases, available at thrift stores for about $5.00 each. My
LS3/5a speakers fit into them very nicely; in one it's a perfect fit, while
the other requires a small dish towel for padding. Make a tour of thrift
stores in your area; check the latches of any luggage you're interested in
very carefully, and smell the inside of the cases too.
They'll smell like cosmetics forever, but have the dual
advantages of cost (nuttin) and stealth. No self-respecting
thief would lay ungloved hand upon one, so stuff precious-
to-you-and-attractive-to-amateur-thieves like cameras and
accessories can be left in motel rooms without (as much)
compunction.
The smell actually helps keep semi-honest people semi-honest!
