So, I want to monitor externally while overdubbing to a pre-existing stereo
track in Nuendo(taking the latency issue out of the equation). Nuendo's
coming
back into a couple of channels(or tape return or something) of the external
mixer.......correct? and my newly recorded tracks via external mic pres are
going into a couple of other channels..........................how do I split
from the external mic pre into the PC breakout box so
that my external mixer is taken out of the recording chain? What's the
"best"way(least signal degradation) to achieve this? Patchbay or........I
dunno

Uuhh, answering my own question here. I'm guessing if the mic pre has an XLR
out & Balanced out, one should go to the mixer & Breakout Box simultaneously?
