I doubt if any do, but I haven't read everyone's syllabus so I can't say
for certain.


Even when I was an undergrad, using an encyclopedia as a reference was
actually a point of criticism, leading to a severely reduced grade. Research
implies getting as close to the sources as possible, which at the very least,
means reading the publications of the researchers themselves.

Maybe there should be searchers...and researchers.
Need to differentiate more between between breaking new ground
and going over old ground. Just MO which I offer for free and
uncorrupted by money.
