I vacillate between thinking they are idiots and thinking that they are so
arrogant that they think what they do does anything but make them look
completely stupid.

Mostly I don't think about them at all - I just throw them a little meat so
that they can keep on humiliating themselves. It seems to be what they want
to do.

THey are probably just trying to keep your career going.
