card (there are several affordable USB devices that
work well). Very few notebook sound cards have a

Yes they do - my wife has a Mac Book that is a very nice
machine. I do like Macs quite a bit (I'm typing this on
an old iMac that we've had for years) but most of my
professional life requires the use of Windows.

My daughter has a Mac Notebook. It cost her about 3
times what a similar Windows laptop would have cost her.
She paid $100s more for a MacIntosh extended warranty.
When she had a problem with it, she had to send the
whole notebook out of town to be checked out. The repair
facility said - hey there's a tiny dent in corner of the
case, the machine is therefore abused and we won't honor
the warranty.

I don't think she's buying another Mac real soon!

Well, that settles that!

Gee Jen, you're getting your role as the female Art Sack-o-crapman down so
well. Will the Middiot promote you to be his arch-idiot, and fuliminate
along with with him?

Well Army, the advanced reader will discern that I'm mocking your
attempt to turn a specific into a general.
