That may be the case. A lot of stations under new ownership (even if it
is the DeathStar...or some other big commercial owner) don't see radical
changes, and if they have an old music library that's served just fine
for the Xmas rotation in previous years, the remaining staff probably is
happy to use the same programming ad infinitum.

That said, they may not be warm to changes, because it would mean more
work for them. The brains behind the original programming and/or
compiling of the holiday library may have been laid off in the sale to
CC, or simply quit or retired.

Can you find an actual human who may have the power to do any local
programming? Flattery will get you a lot farther than whining, so don't
presume that they'll refuse to make changes or listen to you. Instead
you might offer a link directly to the music you're suggesting...and it
wouldn't hurt to point out that you're currently a listener.
