Thanks, Bob. Some further sniffing aroundwww.sennheiser.comAbout
UsHistory 1966-1975 reveals that the MD 441 was new for 1966. The MD
421 came in 1960.

My German isn't too good, but I believe that is the MD411 introduced
in 1966 and the MD441 in 1971.

You're right ~ 1971! My glasses needed cleaning. In a blur, the "1"
resembled a "4". Mea Culpa! At least I read the MD 421 correctly. Is
there a name for a vision "typo"?
