Yes and when I recorded using the back side of the ribbon today, there was
even more HF. I'm putting up that version to the same folder today just for
comparison.
When I had the CAD Trion ribbon in for review, I tried both sides to see
if they did the "Royer trick." I noticed that the front side sounded a
little brighter than the back side, but then when I inverted the
polarity of the back side recording, it sounded close enough to the
front side so that I couldn't say that it was different front to back. I
would expect that every ribbon mic does this. Maybe nobody ever noticed.
Try it on the C-T mic.
