Yeah, I hear lots of room at the end of the guitar track, but also lots
of
low end, maybe suggesting proximity effect. That says figure-8 to me,
and
the slightly dark tone of the mic has me thinking ribbon.

I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to get much closer, I just don't know
the specific gear well enough. Are we closer on the mic or the preamp? I
*think* I'm hearing some harmonics down low that make me think tube, but I
also know that AEA's TRP ribbon preamp is FET, probably transformerless, so
something doesn't quite add up for me.
