things he was working on at that time. It's interesting.
He invented the eight-track recorder.

The amount of music recorded with eight or less tracks is amazing.
Probably the vast majority of music in the 1960s, and I would guess
some studios had eight-track well into the 1970s.
Didn't the Beatles use two four-track recorders?
