Default trends 10.1 amp

Some people are easy to please.

ok, i concede this is probably true...

do your self a favor and check it out! hearing is
believing!

Whatever that means

it means that i have been listening to some high -end
systems and this amp is doing a pretty good job of
holding it's own....

Now we're back to people who are easy to please, sonically speaking. It is
no secret that there are plenty of bad-sounding high end systems around.
Just because people can fill a bill of material composed of expensive
components, doesn't mean they are effective listeners.

For $129 you can get a 100 wpc AM/FM stereo receiver
with a AB output stage, and about $50 change.

yes and i have nad components that cost approximately 6
times this much...

So have I. So what?

as i mentioned, because of it's low power spec maybe
this amp will only really shine with high-efficiancy
speakers.

I do lots of sound reinforcement, so I'm very familiar with high efficiency
speakers. Accepted practice is to drive them with relatively big amps.

i don't claim that this is better sounding
than all other high-end amps only that it sounds
amazingly good even compared with a high-end amp.

To you.

I invite you to try it and then make an impersonal opinion.

Been there, done that.

i would enjoy hearing what you have to say but find it a
little nonplussing to hear your judgements before you
even give it a try.

What's unclear about the fact that I have owned a Tripath ca. 10 wpc amp
like the Trends 10.1 for 3 or more years?

this amp sounds good not just
because of it's low price but actually despite it's low price....

One can do so much better sonically speaking, for a fraction of the price.
