I've combined parts from a Studer Revox A700 2-Track with my prized
A700 4-Track unit. There are a lot of extra parts from this effort
that I'd like to make available for sale:
Prior to teardown the 2-Track unit had a working transport and
electronics in need of new caps (hum).
Available are the following kinds of parts:
2-Track Head mechanism ("plug in" replaceable with 3 screws)
3 Motors
Various circuit boards (all were working, but some need replacement
caps)
Various transport and hardware components
Wood side panels
Case Sheet metal
Main wiring harness
These parts have been carefully packed in 'long term' storage -- So if
you come across this post in a year or more, chances are that what you
need is still available.
