I acquired a pair of MG1 Cs this weekend.
My older 4 pieces of MG1- Improved now serve as "sub" woofers, with 24
dB/oct Butterworth active filtering at 80 Hz (LM4562 opamps), driven
by a MOSFET power amplifier.
The MG1C handles everything above that corner frequency and is driven
by a KT88 PP in triode tube amp.
Pure heaven. Madness. Happiness. Big, big smile on my face.
Maggies rule. Always did, always will.
Cool! Maggies were the first real high end speakers I heard as a kid.
Thanks!
Here's a picture of the setup, not yet correctly placed at the moment
I took it:

Each side has 2 MG1i panels hinged together, in a V-shape with the
MG1C in front of them.
Even though I know their dispersion pattern permits it, it's weird to
see speakers next to the side wall like that!
If you ran all them full range, would it sound like Allisons?
