There's a new discussion underway to allow gays in the military.

One Senator said the Army is wasting tons of money with their witch-hunts.

Does anyone remember the scene in "Biloxi Blues", Neil Simon's account
of his army days, where the line of marching soldiers is stopped, one
is called out, identified as having committed a homosexual act,
arrested and hauled off to military prison. I'm open to correction on
the details of the scene, but I found it very moving, and of course
quite disgraceful.
