Look at the new Martin Logan hybrid. They basically took a Clarity
bass module and put two modified planar/ribbon drivers up top.
Like putting a MMG on top of a bass speaker. NIce.

I don't think anything under $2000 is going to match it except for
maybe a bit pair of Magnepans.
