Did you ever try Beyerdynamic DT990-Pro? Just curious. I'm wondering
how they compare, since the HD-580 and the DT990-Pro are my two top
picks. Ideally, I should find a local store that carries both, but
that might not happen. About 13 or 14 years ago I couldn't find
anyone who carried both brands, so I just went with the Beyerdynamic
DT990. They were fantastic: very realistic timbre, very open, dynamic,
very comfortable. But time has taken its toll. . .
