Default Advice on Speakers

I had a LG LX-M240 Micro HiFi (http://tinyurl.com/2xbq9x), but when I
returned home from holidays the CD drive stoped ejecting, I took it to
a repair and he said an IC had broken and it would cost around $100 to
repair. I don't plan to repair it as for $138 I can buy it new. I now
need to look at other options, I had the idea instead of buying another
replacement Micro HiFi (though I was very happy with it) maybe I should
buy some good speakers for my HP Desktop Computer or a subwoofer to
supplement the given ones. I was looking at these pakages from DSE.
* Creative i-Trigue 3400 2.1 Speaker System (http://tinyurl.com/25t58v)
* JBL 2.1 Creature Speakers (http://tinyurl.com/23m72c)
* Logitech Z-4i Speaker (http://tinyurl.com/2yxme9)
* LOGITECH X230 2.1 Speakers (http://tinyurl.com/2bvp29)

I wasn't thinking of going 5.1 because I would be using it in my
bedroom and their isn't the space. The speakers I have at the moment on
the computer are shown here http://tinyurl.com/ywhezu (If anyone could
tell me the model of the speakers that would be great). Is it better to
look for a subwoffer to add to the speakers? Is the Analog Devices 1886
Soundcard going to be a problem? I want them mostly for music and a bit
of gaming.

Thanks,
