Edirol R09--failed attempt to record from Mackie 1402 VLZ Pro
Using a RCA Y connector, I went from Tape Out on a Mackie 1402 VLZ Pro
mixer to Line In of my Edirol R09, put the R09 on Record Standby, and
was unable to get any reading on the R09 level indicators. I had the
Input Level on the R09 set at 26 (out of maximum 30).
I went from LIne Out on my cassette deck to Line In on the R09 and was
able to record successfully.
The Mackie manual says that the Main Mix fader controls level of signal
sent to Tape Out. I did not see what the setting was for the Main Mix
fader, but the sound system was on and a performance was underway.
Will appreciate suggestions as to how I can record from this mixer with
my R09. Thanks.
