Unfortunately no its not that simple...
the POD is a digital cabinet simulator preamp, designed to plug directly
into the mixing board or recording console. IMHO when you have a
cabinet simulator feeding a power amp, then pumping a guitar cabinet it
sounds conjested, muffled, and lacks projection through a band mix. If
you go this route, make sure to turn the PODs "AIR" switch off so youre
not simulating a cabinbet and then amplifying through the cabinet. Or
run full range PA speakers.
Heres a pic of my guitar / PA stuff, Missing is the John Petrucci photo.

I messed around with my series VIII hifonics amps in my accord. Ran my
Line6 POD into the RCAs and jammed away in the garage. Of course It
cant compare to my Mesa/Peavey/ART tube rack, and my drummer & bass
player thought I was a geek but what the hell... :~)
Hee, hee, hee......what do they know, eh? :-)
Note... IMHO the POD sounds like crap through a power amp and into a
guitar cab. IMHO it sounds better into a set of full range PA speakers.
Thanks for the input on this. Will keep this in mind when
setting up a preamp section; something to do with the value of
different line levels between instrument gear and commercial
audio gear, maybe???
Thanks for the reply! :-)

Howdy all..... :-)
Just pick up a used Alphasonik A-255 Stereo Power Amplifier and
am looking for information on the wiring harness pin-out. It has
a schematic glued to the back of the unit but it's very hard to
read due to it being so scratched up.
Tried logging onto the Alphasonik web site but their $##@@!!!
Flash/JavaScript junk just locks up my older computer....and of
course, they don't have any alternative way of logging on. grrr
Some of you participants might be insterested in my project for
this rascal....I would like to use the module as the power amp
section for a portable battery powered guitar/vocal amplifier.
If you have any thoughts or information regarding the above, they
would be most appreciated at this end of things.....thanks! :-)
