From what I hear on other forums the name the
potential client is looking for is Neumann mostly.

I have heard the TLM103 on female vocals
and, compared to cheaper mic's, it did sound
good. But I have seen it mentioned, too, that the 103
isn't as good as the other Neumanns and
may not be worth the $1000 (or whatever
the current going retail is).
