Your perfect store
With al due respect, I am serious. It sounds like you want a balls to
the wall SERVICE CENTER with a machine shop. That is a completely
different industry. How many people do you personally know that would
patronize this type of business enough to make it worth doing. How much
square footage would be needed? What size city would this need to be
done in? If it is a large market, what would the rent be on a place
like this. What percentage of this citie's population would be remotely
interested in a store like this.As an audiophile myself, I recognize
that we are a VERY small percentage of the population. So give it a
little nore thought , and I would be very interested in your thoughts
on the viability of a veture like this.

Plenty of parts: drivers, speaker building materials, transformers,
tubes, etc. And a custom metal shop with shears, brakes and such who
could bend up boxes promptly and reasonably. Since shears and brakes
are not all that expensive and the skills can be taught to
anyone-except electronics nerds, it seems-it should be pretty
reasonable.
