I was playing with the computer speakers in Best Buy the other

were maybe worth $3 each, and the Sub was nothing special.

The sound was typical Bose...no highs, no lows, unfocused
imaging, etc.

So why am I bothering to write this? Look at this pictu

Very nice machined aluminum, with a rubber ring that controls
volume. A real pleasure to use. Phone ringing? Just tap the
top of the thing and it mutes.

There are also jacks for aux input (iPod?), and headphones.

A very cool idea and well-implemented. They should sell the
control pod separately so it could be used with good speakers.

great, just what I need. Something else to clutter my desk.

When I want to mute the sound, I hit F11. I've assigned that key to mute my
sound card's mixer.
