Perhaps it is time to get serious about product auditions!
Were the loudness levels matched?
Was the identical same music being played?
Were the receivers auditioned side-by-side in the same room?

More to the point, who is the psychiatrist who allegedly "treated" you?
Was it the same bozo who certified ScottW as high-functioning and able
to fend for himself in human society?

We've recently talked about the same issues related to other components.
People hear differences when two different components are playing, but
nothing's the same. Different music, different speakers, different rooms,
and the levels aren't matched. These all make profound differences in sound
quality.
