Yes, I can see you pulling out the old "Golden Ears" argument and
warming it up.

Given that a $25,000 turntable will do nothing to fix the basic flaws
that render vinyl no more than a mid-fi media, why would I even bother
listening to such a turntable?

Even if I did, I could hardly judge just a turntable without also
involving many other associated factors, including the listening room.
Since you will not be able to duplicate those other factors (and may
not even know about some of them), how would the results of my
listening test apply to you?

There are more than adequate turntables available for far less than
$25,000. Why spend more?
