That may be, but Rich, but I hope that you would not put Howard in the

of quality usenet contributors.
His opinions of equipment are as tone-deaf as Arny's, without even the
benefit of basic techician level audio knowledge.
On the other hand, it's possible that unlike Arny and McCarty, his voice
doesn't sound like a whiny chipmunk.

Howard is among the lesser issues AFAIC. Reviews of equipment are based
on the reviewers experiences and as such, all have to be taken with a
grain of salt. How his voice sounds really is irrevalent. I don't know
about either persons tone deafness, but Arny certainly comes across as
irrational on certain sub-topics. Based on his postings one really starts
to think is is quite intolerant.
