Default Complaints to ISP

"Lionel" wrote

I wish I knew who the coward was which has generated
two complaints to my ISP in the past week.
Asshole doesn't even have the guts to complain
in person but uses a web robot called SpamCop.

Your ISP was only covering itself by contacting you.
I wouldn’t sweat it. An anonymous complaint wouldn’t
be grounds for terminating your contracted service
unless the tech verified that the substance of the
complaint clearly violated the terms and conditions of
their service.

If they are making a serious threat to terminate your
service talk to a supervisor or general manager about
the situation. You maybe over-reacting. It wouldn’t be
the first time .

You are not exactly right here.
I have been banished from my ISP in february for the same
reasons than Scott same "SpamCop" robot, and same frustration.
I have sent 100 mails, a registered letter, phoned several time
and the only solution they proposed me was to create a new
account with an other name... Just need to pay a new subscription...
I answered them that they should look for an other sheep to shear. )

Two ugly job duties at ISP services... clearing spam
off the server and responding to e-mail complaints.
